2012 Mercedes C-Class Coupe

Mercedes-Benz has released the first details and images of the upcoming 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class ahead of its Geneva Motor Show launch next month.

2011 RENNtech Mercedes CLK 63 Black Series

German Tuner RENNtech has offered a carbon fiber aerodynamic upgrades for the Mercedes-Benz CLK Black Series. The CLK 63 Black Series carbon aero upgrades include RENNtech’s proprietary full carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, DTM rear wing, Carbon air box with vacuum chamber and front carbon brake air ducts.



RENNtech Carbon Front Splitter – priced at $2450: offers aggressive front end styling and increased down force for improved handling. Integrated into the flat panel underbody tray are functional channels which allow cooling air to be directed to the front brakes to increase brake cooling and reduce heat fade and pad wear.



RENNtech Carbon Front Brake Air Ducts – priced at $1250: designed in conjunction with our front splitter to dramatically increase cooling air flow to the front brakes reducing brake fade and pad wear under the most extreme driving conditions.



RENNtech 63 Carbon Air box – priced at $2795: redesigned full carbon air box incorporates a restyled carbon vacuum chamber box. By optimizing the path and increasing the volume of incoming airflow, our carbon air box is able to offer gains up to 10hp.



RENNtech Carbon Rear diffuser – priced at $3250: the companion component to the front splitter and functions to decrease drag and increase down force by improving the underbody airflow and its transition to ambient air. Integrated into the true double decker rear diffuser are the RENNtech air channels.



RENNtech Carbon DTM Adjustable Rear Wing – priced $3350: Offers aggressive styling and functional performance; our fully adjustable DTM style rear wing is designed to work in conjunction with the OEM lip spoiler and improves rear down force and stability at higher speeds.



RENNtech Front & Rear Adjustable Camber Bushings – price at $1250 front and $945 rear: allow drivers to adjust their car’s handling for different tracks and styles of driving, ensuring that the car’s tires maintain maximum grip for proper alignment, better braking, and improved cornering.

2010 Romeo Ferraris Mercedes C63 AMG

There are lots of German tuning outfits ready to rev up your newly minted Ferrari or Lamborghini - rare, though, is an Italian tuner who aims to add a little firepower to a German performance car.



Romeo Ferraris puts the experience of its racing team to good use and takes on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG - dialing things up a notch or two by means of ECU-mapping, a new exhaust and adjustable suspension.



That engine and exhaust work amounts to the 6.2 liter V8 producing 540 bhp (403 kW) instead of the production model's 457 bhp (341 kW). Romeo Ferraris replaces all the exhaust fittings with its own high performance components, including the manifold, that also helps boost power.



The tuning job gives the C63 AMG a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 4 seconds flat, compared to the 4.5 seconds of the production version. 200 km/h is achieved in just 12.5 seconds and top speed is over 300 km/h.



Romeo Ferraris also provides its own super-light 18-inch racing rims which weigh only 10 kg each.



Finally, come the aesthetics - a cromo paint job, a more aerodynamic front bumper, and the black Benz badge, lateral air intakes, grids, lights parabola and roof wrapping that give the car an mean-asphalt-engraven look. Other roof colors are also available.



For the interior cabin is a silver stitching for the seats and steering wheel done in Alcantara and a leather finish for the dashboard and door panels too.
